“It’s your old mate BBQ Bob Gallagher” his signature FM 104 style not only was it great to be on the same announcing team back in the 80’s but then i get a doubleshot of classic rock er’ Greatest Memories, Latest Hits in the latter case, and what a mouthful glad they shortened it to Classic Hits.
Thanks to Bob Gallagher himself for kindly sending these airchecks to me on cassette, it has been a pleasure putting these together as I hope many people enjoy hearing one of Australias finest radio PD/Announcer and all round top bloke, hehe, oh and Laurel and Gary are great too no wonder this gets another “Legends on the Mic” showcase
