I worked at 3AK in the early days as Grantley Dee’s personal ‘panel operator’ and clearly recall the radio jingles recorded by The Seekers and played on air at the time.
One day Keith Potger and the group came into the studio sharing fruit cake for the team It was baked by his Mum. Later on in my career, I had contact with Athol Guy as an account director in an advertising agency. Wow! As I look back in later years, how fortunate I have been to have met and experienced the wealth of international talent we have in Australia.
